In many other countries, the cost of the children's education is not provided by the government as in Western societies, but is a cost that the family must bear.  At Colegio Bethel, the parents pay for a small portion of the child's education costs & Proyecto Fe sponsors subsidize the remainder to give their sponsored child a high quality Christian education. 

Child sponsorship support is $28 per month and covers expenses such as tuition, books, medical and dental attention, uniforms, meals, teacher's salaries, etc. If 100% of the children were sponsored, there would remain a short fall in covering the expenses to administer and maintain the school.  Therefore it is safe to say that 100% of your sponsorship donation goes directly to your child's Christian education and support.  Special gifts, such as birthday, Christmas, and family gifts are sent directly and in full, to the sponsored children and their families.  

The most important parts of child sponsorship is the relationship that develops between you, the child and the child's family, and the benefit of lifting a child's esteem as you invest into their lives. One of the best benefits is the opportunity you have to actaully correspond with your child. Ministries we partner with:

Panyebar, Guatemala:  Panyebar is a rural mountain village in the highlands of Guatemala. Pastor Emilio, out of his own heart and love, is in the process of completing a middle school in Panyebar. Proyecto Fe has provided some assistance, but is not as involved with Panyebar as with Colegio Bethel. At this time we are not in need of child sponsors.  

Sandra Lee Orphanage, Swaziland Africa:  child sponsorship of orphaned children in association with Leadership for Africa.  Sponsorship for these children is $50 per month and provides economic support for the ministry of these children who are orphaned by the AIDS crisis and in some cases either has or HAD tested positive for HIV (born with HIV, but became negitive at a later date).  Please CLICK HERE for more information on these children.
